This chess game is an original creation by yours truly. I created a "play-by-email" multi-user chess game so that I could play chess against my friends online and have the ability to let games span across multiple days if necessary.

The way it works is when a user challenges another user both users receive an email announcing the game. After that, an email is sent to each player when it is there turn with a link to bring them to the board/chat area.

The game has really evolved quite nicely thanks to user suggestions and feed back from the first version I made. Check out the shrunken screen shot below to get an idea, or sign up for an account and check out the lobby/active games.
